Toby is a dynamic and dedicated rural property valuer with a genuine passion for all things rural property. Growing up in Wanaka, Toby developed a strong passion for the rural industry. After graduating from Lincoln University he moved to Hawke’s Bay where he spent four years honing his expertise and gaining registration as a rural property valuer. During this time Toby has developed technical knowledge and valuation skills across a diverse range of property types including valuations of sheep and beef, dairy, horticulture, viticulture, lifestyle, forestry and carbon forest properties. He provides in depth analysis and valuations for various needs including finance, internal planning, sale and purchase, succession, subdivision, compensation and Public Works Act acquisitions. Throughout 2024 Toby also played a significant role in Cyclone Gabrielle’s Category 3 buyout process, assisting landowners with critical valuations.
Toby has now returned to his roots in Wanaka to continue growing the Logan Stone brand throughout the lower South Island while continuing to be supported by Grant, Jay, George and Boyd and the rest of the Logan Stone team. When not at work Toby stays active in the outdoors through trail running, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, skiing the slopes and embracing the lifestyle that Wanaka offers.
